I've been saying to raynos for days, "Let's talk contest 'fic!" And then I fall asleep on her.

So I'm off to talk, and hopefully start, contest 'fic. Consider that the words for the night. :)

There's a reason I like keeping old copies of things. It's always neat to go back and reread them and see what the hell you were thinking, once upon a time.

Just for fun, I thought I'd post the original versions I have of my contest 'fics. Merry might kill me, but I've always found it interesting to look at how stories evolve and change, and how useful it is to have a good beta.
